Australian farmer Brent Morrish holds a head of ripening wheat crop which Australian Plague Locusts will threaten and possibly devastate in the coming weeks in areas around Ouyen, Victoria, Australia. After 10 years of drought, farmers are fearing major losses of what would otherwise be their first good crop in years. The Victorian government has pledged $43.5million in support to help combat what could be the worst locust plague in over 75 years in South Eastern Australia with potential imapcts on agriculture of over $2 billion.
