It’s great to be featured on the front page of something, so I was happy to hear I was (briefly) on the front page of the Demotix website today. Demotix is one of the new breed of citizen journalism style websites that have sprung up recently. Their founder and CEO Turi is a great guy and I had a great chat with him at the Visa Pour L’image in Perpignan. I strongly believe that the democratization of news via the internet has arrived and it’s great to see people like Turi and Demotix out there pioneering new business models.
